What Exactly Causes Baldness?

Baldness is a huge problem for men who have passed their youth. If you are undergoing baldness, you are probably wondering why it is happening. There are many different factors that contribute to baldness in males, and by knowing them you may be able to take steps to prevent or slow down hair loss. So read on to find out about some of the main reasons why people go bald. It will help you get a better feel for the malady that you are suffering, and could possibly benefit you in ways you haven’t even imagined.

The number one cause of balding can be attributed to genetics. If you have the gene for balding in you, there isn’t much you can do to prevent it except for hope for the best and use whatever treatments you think might work. Fortunately with all of the modern remedies available, it is fairly possible to find something that will work to prevent your hair follicles from dying out on you. But even if you try your hardest and find all of the remedies in the world, you should still be ready to possibly end up as bald as a billiard ball.

Another huge cause of baldness is that of poor diets or poor exercise habits. Many Asian cultures had extremely low rates of balding, but when diets began to shift more towards foods filled with calories and fat, the balding rate skyrocketed. If you eat like this, you are putting yourself at a higher risk for losing your hair. The same goes with exercise. Aerobic and vigorous exercise is necessary for you to remain as healthy as possible, and this includes your hair follicles. Even people who get up and go for a half-hour run every day have a much lower chance of losing their hair.

Stress is another cause of baldness. You could have two genetically identical people with the same health habits, except one of them works a stressful job. The one with the stressful job will be many times more likely to undergo hair loss. So if you are really attached to your hair in every sense of the phrase, you should try to cut back on the stresses of your life and become a more laid-back person.
